Supercats once again struggled to convert at the offensive end, shooting at a poor 33% from the field. Bendigo received valuable contributions from all players, with youngster Warren Randall the standout player.

Frankston guard Bart Strzebonski destroyed his former team, scoring 31pts, 6rebs, 4stls and 4ass, and helping Frankston to a much-needed victory. After trailing by only 12 with a quarter to play, the Pioneers were disappointing in the final term, getting outscored 8-26.

In their last game in an AIS uniform Ogilvy, Mills, Johnson and Dowdell played a major part in securing the victory for the Institute. AIS held an 11-point advantage at the half, and Knox were forced to play catch-up, but could not bridge the gap.

Spartans took the early lead and pulled away to a 17-point lead at the end of the first, 35-18. Spartans continued over from the first quarter, leading by 21 with five to go in the quarter. Cobras had a late comeback but still down 62-43 at the half. Spartans pushed out the score and took the lead to 34 at the end of the quarter, 93-59. Spartans were cruising in the final quarter, having put its bench on for a run. Spartans finished 124- 91 for their final home game of the season.

Miners playing coach Matt Shanahan clinched the victory for his team with three seconds remaining in the game. Bandits veteran Allen McCowan then had the opportunity to snatch the victory but was unable to convert his buzzer beating shot. The game was tight throughout, but a 35-22 third quarter scoring blitz by the Miners helped their cause.

A 28-16 opening quarter took the Raiders by surprise, and once again for the second time in two days, the Raiders were forced to play catch up basketball.

Both teams came out running in the first quarter for a high scoring affair. The Spectres extended their lead in the second quarter, leaving the Bandits with a lot of work left to do, trailing by 25 points. The Spectres continued to shoot the lights out from beyond the arc to maintain their 27-point lead. In the final quarter the Spectres bench was given a run and they were convincing 30-point winners.

Kilsyth got out to an early lead, leading by nine before a Spartans comeback to be down by six at the first break. Spartans rallied again and a tech foul on Cobras gave them hope but still down 14 points at the half, 53-39. Two injuries in quick succession slowed down the Cobras' attack but with the 22-point margin, the Spartans had to dig deep. Early in the fourth the Cobras lost a starting five player and got a bench tech, with the Spartans gaining momentum and halfway through the quarter were only down by just nine points. The Cobras, however, ran out the game 95-82.

A solid team effort from the Lady Miners helped them secure a 97-66 victory and consolidate first position on the ladder. Underrated players Andrea Collins and Chantal Allgood were sensational for Ballarat.

Australian Opal Kristi Harrower once again showed her experience, guiding her hometown Lady Braves to another victory over the third-placed Raiders. Harrower led her team to a 19-8 second quarter which opened the game for Bendigo, forcing Knox to play catch-up for the remainder of the game.

In a fast-paced game, defence did not appear to be the priority. The Bandits led by seven points at quarter time. In the second quarter, Albury extended their lead to 10 going into half time. The Spectres erased the halftime deficit with outstanding defence. They lifted their intensity and the momentum swung to the Spectres, who had a convincing 20-point lead going into the fourth quarter. The Spectres won convincingly, despite a small surge from the Bandits. A great effort by Deanna Smith and Jodie Datson, who nearly both came away with triple doubles.
