Brett Goodgame made sure he would remember his 150th SEABL game, as he recorded a season-high 34 points @ 69%, four rebounds, four assists and four steals. Brett started the game at a blistering pace with 16 points @ 100% in the first quarter, and continued to be a major threat in the remainder of the game. Brett’s successful lay-up with 10 seconds remaining also clinched his team a rewarding 127-125 victory against NW Tasmania.

With an MVP performance in his milestone game, Goodgame continued his brilliant form on Sunday afternoon, helping the Miners secure a 2-0 weekend for the first time this season with a 125-102 victory at Nunawading. Brett recorded 23 points @ 53%, two rebounds, two assists and two steals to consolidate his first ever Player of the Week recognition.

SEABL EAST MEN'S PLAYER OF THE WEEK: JAMAL BROWN – Geelong Supercats
After struggling for form and confidence in recent weeks as a result of three teeth being knocked out of his mouth in Round 16, Geelong Supercats' favourite import Jamal Brown had a sensational game this weekend, earning his first Player of the Week recognition this year. With 14 second quarter points, Brown helped the Supercats set up a 22-point advantage at halftime against the Thunder and forced NW Tasmania to play catch-up. After averaging 8.5ppg in his past four games, Jamal finished with a season-high 36 points @ 69%, 12 rebounds and two assists.

Other notable performances were:
- Canberra Gunners veteran Paul Denman recorded 31pts@65%, 11 rebounds, three assists and two blocks, helping his team to a comfortable 121-91 victory on the road against Albury/Wodonga.
- With 34pts@65%, two rebounds, one assist and one block from Cameron Rigby, Bendigo Braves recorded a come-from-behind victory on the road against Mt Gambier. Rigby scored 27pts in the second half to guide his team to victory after they trailed 42-58 at the half.

SEABL WOMEN'S PLAYER OF THE WEEK: NAT HURST – Albury/Wodonga Lady Bandits
With a sensational individual performance on Saturday night against Launceston, Nat Hurst receives her third Player of the Week recognition, and a late claim for the overall Most Valuable Player award at season’s end. Hurst was outstanding in the Lady Bandits' 101-84 victory against the Tornaodes, scoring double digits in three quarters. Hurst finished with a season-best 36points @ 68%, four rebounds and five assists.

The following day Hurst struggled at the offensive end, but was still able to record 11pts@30%, five rebounds and a weekend-best 10 assists in her team’s 65-81 loss against the third placed Knox Raiders.

Other notable performances were:
- Knox Raiders guard Julia Tan had a sensational weekend averaging 16pts, 5.5 rebounds and two assists for the round, helping her team to a 2-0 weekend and consolidating third place on the ladder.
- Launceston Tornadoes import Crista Hays' outstanding late-season form continued over the weekend with 25pts, seven rebounds, four blocks against Albury/Wodonga on Saturday and 30 points and 14 rebounds on Sunday against Nunawading. Unfortunately her team lost both games, with the Spectres needing overtime to secure the home win on Sunday afternoon.
- Chantal Allgood had another superb all-round game with 13 points, 12 rebounds, three assists, five blocks and three steals against NW Tasmania on Friday night. Her efforts helped the Lady Miners record a 78-51 victory.
