Rangers re-sign Dawson for two years

After a stellar season the Dandenong Rangers were unstoppable, and once again its was Brent Hobba (Game MVP) with 21 points, eight rebounds and Vince Inglima with 27 points who led the charge.
Hobba and Inglima were well-supported by Dwayne Campbell and the veteran Mick Wheeler who provided tremendous on-court direction.
This win now enables the Dandenong Schweppes Rangers to challenge the Bendigo Braves in the ABA Quarter Finals which will be played at Dandenong next Saturday night.

In other exciting news, Dandenong Schweppes Rangers have reappointed Warren Dawson as head coach for a further two years.
"Warren Dawson's efforts in achieving back-to-back Championships with the Dandenong Schweppes Rangers have been extraordinary. The program is such a tremendous pathway for our Junior Rangers players with all bar three players coming from our Junior Rangers program," Rangers President Charles Ryan said.
"Warren's vision for growing the senior program and increasing its' profile were key reasons for his continuing with the team. He is also keen to assist us in placing us clearly as the number one basketball association in Australia through constant improvement of our junior program," he added.
