South Dragons representatives Ash Jurberg and Craig Huxtable were special guests of the North Melbourne Football Club on Sunday, at a function recognising the efforts of long-serving coterie members.

Jurberg and Huxtable addressed the hundred-strong crowd of ‘Northerner’s’ - who include the South Dragons player welfare officer Matt Hollard – with a brief overview of Victoria’s newest basketball team.

“There was a great sense of history amongst the Northerners, and that’s something that in years to come we’d love to emulate at the Dragons,” said Dragons Corporate Director Ash Jurberg.

“Thanks again to coterie President Caroline Carnegie for allowing us the opportunity to be part of a historic occasion.”
