The Phoenix Suns have moved to the Western Conference Finals for the second straight season and the eighth time in franchise history with a 127-107 win over the Los Angeles Clippers.

League MVP Steve Nash was back to his best with 29 points, including 4-of-5 three-pointers and 11 assists to lead the Suns to a match-up against the Dallas Mavericks starting in Dallas on Thursday.

Nash, 2-for-18 on threes in his previous five games, made 11-of-16 from the field and along with all-star Shawn Marion's 30 points, led the Suns to their largest win of the series.

The Suns had seven players scoring in double figures and shot a combined 48-of-80 from the field compared to the Clippers 41-of-78.

Clippers leader Elton Brand capped off a fine performance for the Clippers in the series with 36 points and 9 rebounds, but guards Cuttino Mobley and Sam Cassell were relatively quiet combining for 8-of-21 from the field with no three pointers.

The Clippers, trying to make the Western Conference Finals for the first time in franchise history, fell behind early and were always playing catch up basketball.

They twice cut the Suns lead to six points in the third quarter, but a Marion three pointer and a jumper from Boris Diaw took the margin back out to eleven points.

The Clippers never got the margin inside single figures again. Phoenix did as they liked in the last quarter with Leandro Barbosa and James Jones nailing some nice shots off the bench for the Suns.
