A monstrous triple-double for swingman Jacob Holmes (15 points, 15 rebounds and 15 assists) punctuated a successful weekend for Dragons competing in various state leagues on the weekend.

South Dragons assistant coach Scott Ninnis watched Jacob play in Adelaide.

"Jacob's team took on the top side and they ran all over them," added Ninnis.

"Jacob was fantastic, along with former 36ers team-mate Brad Hill who was also in great form, it was exciting to watch."

Matt Shanahan netted 34 points, nine rebounds and five assists as the Kilsyth Cobras defeated the NW Tasmania Thunder in Kilsyth on Saturday.

Joe Ingles posted his highest score since breaking his ankle several months ago, contributing 14 points and three assists as the AIS scraped over the line against the Mildura Mavericks.
