The South Dragons will be out in force over the coming months, with player appearances taking place at dozens of local basketball associations as their 2006/07 membership drive kicks off.
"We're going back to our roots," said Membership Manager Ed McPhail.
"It's about us getting out and connecting with the wider basketball community.
"Players like Shane Heal, Frank Drmic and Matt Shanahan started their careers in the Victorian junior leagues, and used to compete in Saturday morning competition just like the thousands of families we intend to meet across our membership drive."
All appearances will feature player signings, competitions and the opportunity to sign up to an exclusive basketball association membership offer.
2006/07 South Dragons Membership Drive Dates
10th June: Cranbourne Basketball Association, 10am - 2pm
17th June: Kilsyth Basketball Association, 11am - 4pm
24th June: Parade College, Mill Park, 9am - 12pm
28th June: Mornington Camp with Matt Shanahan
15th July: Waverley Basketball Association, 10am - 2pm
9th Sept: Waverley Basketball Association, 10am - 2pm
