South’s scouting pauses for NBA Pre-Draft Camp

The South Dragons search for an import duo has been put on hold for a few weeks, as prospective players partake in the NBA pre-draft camp.

Dragons head coach Mark Price has individually worked out a number of likely American imports, and must now wait for the results of the NBA draft on the 28th of June to know whether negotiations can progress.

“It’s exciting to have players on our radar who’re in serious contention for a spot on an NBA roster,” said Dragons chairman Mark Cowan.

“The NBA is first preference for these guys, and we understand that.

"Our discussions to date are that they’ll commit to the Dragons if their NBA hopes aren’t realised."
