Horsham (5-8) vs McKinnon (8-7)
Saturday 7:30pm at Horsham
Form says McKinnon will take this, and ladder position says they should as well. But, three factors come into the equation that might affect that. First, the game is at Horsham, second Owen Hughan will have something special lined up for his opponents and third, McKinnon are simply unpredictable.

It is probably the latter that Horsham will most be relying on. The Hornet's have a relatively comfortable end to the season compared to most teams but this looms as a danger game and a win both knocks McKinnon around as well as lifting Horsham's chances.

Mornington (6-7) vs Maccabi (9-5)
Saturday 7:00pm at Mornington
The Breakers took a real belting from LTU last round which probably set back their finals chance terminally given the run they have coming home. Maccabi have plenty of motivation as well - needing to get back on the winners list and find some form.

Keysborough (1-13) vs Warragul (11-3)
Saturday 7:30pm at Springers
The Cougars first win last weekend has been celebrated by plenty but this game might well deliver a dose of reality for the Springers based side, with Warragul in fine touch riding a four game win streak.

Melton (5-8) vs Monash University (10-5)
Saturday 8:00pm at Melton
It's hard to see the Thoroughbreds coming out and taking this, even at their home court. Monash are one of three teams in the five with five losses and any stumble could see their home finals chances evaporate.

LTU (10-5) vs Craigieburn (6-7)
Saturday 8:00pm at Darebin
LTU grabbed second spot last weekend and need to hold it, still with a chance of a minor premiership if they can avoid losing in danger games like this. Craigieburn have three wins this season against top five sides - they'd like nothing more than to add to that.

Western Port (5-8) vs Melton (5-8)
Sunday 2:00pm at Somerville
The best of the rest tip off here with both of these sides now outside finals contention in our view. Melton at full strength would rattle the Steelers but they have not been able to get their best team together on the court for some time now.

Craigieburn (6-7) vs Warragul (11-3)
Sunday 2;30pm at Craigieburn
Our other game of the week option sees Craigieburn take on the first placed Warragul after meeting second place LTU the night before. Warragul would be favoured, especially considering they have the easier of the match-ups on Saturday.

Division Two Women

Latrobe City (7-6) vs Craigieburn (9-4)
Saturday 6:00pm at Traralgon
We tossed a coin to come up with game of the week, so important is this clash and the promising encounter between Monash University and Hawthorn tomorrow. We came up with this and we think it will not disappoint, with the Valley girls in danger of slipping right away if they lose here.

The Energy went to Mildura last week with just seven and turned in a more than credible performance. For a team struck by illness during the week they did well, but now they need to take full advantage of home court. This is simply must win. Craigieburn will be plenty confident, having disposed of Monash with some comfort last weekend, yet they will not take the Energy lightly. If Latrobe lose they find themselves a full three games beyond the five - untenable we would think after 12 rounds.

Altona (3-11) vs Southern Peninsula (11-4)
Saturday 6:00pm at Altona
SP missed a golden chance last week to put themselves into the top three when they slipped up against one of the bottom sides - they can't afford to do that again and Altona could well be made to pay.

Keilor (6-8) vs Monash University (11-3)
Saturday 6:00pm at Keilor
The Thunder have finally found some solid form winning three successive games - Monash in contrast have lost their last two. If Keilor can keep things going they could possibly take this off the students, who really need to find their way again.

Hawthorn (11-2) vs Mornington (4-9)
Saturday 6:00pm at Xavier
Mornington's mid season run seems to have been left behind as they have struggled with three losses over the last couple of rounds - expect that to extend to four with the Magic still with a chance of the minor premiership.

Melton (2-11) vs Sherbrooke (0-14)
Saturday 6:00pm at Melton
Melton will still be crowing about the upset they delivered the Sharks last round and this looks to us like another chance for them to take a win - Sherbrooke are taller though and if they can use that advantage could well break through at last.

Craigieburn (9-4) vs Sherbrooke (0-14)
Sunday 12:30pm at Craigieburn
The Suns play in Melbourne's North West for the second time in two days and this is by far the tougher prospect on paper. Whatever happens Saturday for the Eagles, they'll be after a big result here.

Monash University (11-3) vs Hawthorn (11-2)
Sunday 2:00pm at Monash Uni
A huge clash to help round out the weekend. Another loss for Monash would see them vying for fourth or fifth rather than looking at first place, which almost looked a certainty just a couple of weeks back.

Ringwood (5-8) vs Melton (2-11)
Sunday 2:15pm at Maroondah
The Hawks should consolidate their position with another win here, although if Melton are again successful Saturday their confidence will be up. Ringwood leaving it very late if they want to make a serious run.
