Katrina Hibbert - Knox Raiders
Katrina receives her first Futuro Player of the Week recognition after helping her team to a 2-0 weekend averaging 25.5pts, 7.5rebs, 2ass and 2stls.

Hibbert started the weekend with a 24pts@44%, 6rebs, 3ass, 1blk and 2stls performance on Saturday night, helping the Raiders defeat Ballarat 72-59 in a Grand Final rematch. Hibbert was outstanding in the first quarter, scoring 15pts@100%. The following day, Hibbert continued her great offensive play with 27pts@41%, 9rebs, 1ass, 1blk and 2stls against Frankston.

Other notable performances were:
* NW Tasmania import Tracy Gahan continues to record consistent numbers, averaging 23.5pts, 18rebs and 2ass for the weekend.

* Frankston Blues forward Julie Ofsoski fought hard for her team with 19pts and 11rebs, but her efforts could not stop her former team Knox winning 71-70.

SEABL South men player of the week

Ricky Daniels - Ballarat Miners
Ballarat Miners Ricky Daniels is having a sensational comeback season, and this week recorded his fourth SEABL career triple double. Daniels helped his team to a 118-92 victory against Kilsyth and finished the game with an impressive 19 points @ 61%, 14 rebounds, 10 assists and 6 steals. Daniels was unstoppable and the only person able to counter his productivity was his coach, as Miners coach Paul Tidorovic only played him for three minutes in the last quarter. Ricky destroyed the Cobras in the second and third quarters which enabled the Miners to grab a 20+ pt advantage.

SEABL East men player of the week

Chaz Briggs - Mildura Mavericks
Mavericks import Chaz Briggs earns his second Player of the Week recognition after a sensational performance on Saturday night versus Hobart, which enabled the Mavericks to secure the victory and end their 13 game losing streak.

Chaz was a consistent threat for the entire game, and recorded a season best in three categories, with 27 rebounds, 6 assists and 8 blocks. Briggs finished the game with 34points @ 54%, and did not record a foul for the entire game. Chaz was at his best in the 2nd half, recording 25 of the teams 44 pts.

Other notable performances were:

* AIS scholarship holder Joe Ingles averaged 17.5pts, 4rebs and 1.5blks for the weekend, helping his team to a 2-0 weekend record and a stranglehold on fourth position in the East Conference.

* Bendigo Braves import Denver Tenbroek once again guided his team to victory with 37pts@50%, 7rebs, 3ass and 2stls. Denver and the Braves got revenge on Kilsyth, defeating the Cobras 108-98.

* Despite a disappointing 0-2 weekend on the mainland, Hobart Chargers Daniel George averaged 19pts, 13.5rebs and 2blks.
