Bendigo Braves import Denver Tenbroek earns his third Player of the Week award after guiding his team to first place on the South Men ladder with a 129-115 victory over country Victoria rivals Ballarat. Denver started the game at a blistering pace, scoring 12 first quarter points, and then continued his great shooting touch with a further 14 points in the second term.

Tenbroek was a threat from behind the three point arc all night, shooting six from nine attempts. Denver finished the game with 40 points @ 67%, 7 rebounds and 8 assists.

Nick Payne – Albury/Wodonga Bandits
Despite his team losing 101-113 at home to Kilsyth Cobras, Nick Payne fought hard for the entire game and has been rewarded with his second Player of the Week recognition. Nick recorded his first ever Triple Double with 21 points @ 42%, 10 rebounds and 10 assists.

Other notable performances were;
- Adam Gibson helped the Hobart Chargers to a victory against Mt Gambier with 36pts@62%, 3rebs and 4ass.

- Mt Gambier Pioneers Bart Stzebonski had a consistent weekend in Tasmania, averaging 28ppg, 4.5rpg and 5.5apg, helping the Pioneers to a successful 1-1 weekend.

- Patrick Mills had a solid weekend in Victoria after week training with the Australian Boomers. Patrick averaged 19.5ppg, 3.5rpg and 1.5spg.
