New Dragons signing Brent Hobba had 22 points and 11 rebounds on Saturday, helping the Dandednong Rangers to a 94-84 win over the Melbourne Tigers.
Hobba connected on two long range attempts and had four steals and two assists for the Rangers, who move to 15 wins and three losses and have second spot firmly cemented in the Big V.
Playing against the Frankston Blues on Saturday night, Matt Shanahan’s Kilsyth Cobras scraped home with a one point win 105-104. Shanahan was solid with 23 points, seven rebounds and six assists for the Cobras.
On Sunday Shanahan had 16 points and five assists as the Hobart Chargers took a 111-97 victory over Kilsyth.
