For each and every home game at the Sydney Olympic Park Sports Centre, families and individuals can enjoy a flat rate of $9.50 a head representing close to a 50 percent saving on the next best priced adult ticket.

“What people save on tickets they can put towards their petrol,” was the wry comment from Razorbacks’ CEO Robbie Cadee.

“The ‘Razor Saver’ price also counts for our biggest draw-card of the season against the Kings at the Acer Arena on 9 December – so that’s something special to take advantage of,” he added.

For that blockbuster, Westbus and the Razorbacks today also announced their “Ambassador Associations Night” which will involve a fleet of free-of-charge Westbus vehicles picking up an estimated 500 basketball fans from Penrith, Hills, Hornsby, Norths and Parramatta associations and transporting them to Acer Arena at Sydney Olympic Park.

The Associations are all participants in the Razorbacks’ Ambassador Program which offers grass roots support from the club and its players.

Cadee declared that the idea had already gained plenty of momentum, “The associations have greeted the offer with tremendous enthusiasm and we’re delighted that our major sponsor can transport them en masse for basketball’s big night,” he said.

On the same evening, the Razorbacks are joining Scouts NSW for SLAMBOREE!! - an event which will find an estimated 1000 Scouts from all around the state converge on Acer Arena for the local derby and a novel first-time-ever camp-out in the massive 21,000-seat stadium.

Meanwhile, a specially decked out Westbus, resplendent in Razorback colours, will be unveiled at the club’s corporate launch and golf day at Macarthur Grange next Wednesday. The bus will also take pride of place at the team’s first home game against the Cairns Taipans on BIG WEDNESDAY 4 October at the Sydney Olympic Park Sports Centre.

Westbus, western Sydney’s largest private bus operator, joined the club as its new naming rights sponsor in a three-year deal announced ten days ago. CDC is a joint venture between Cabcharge Australia Ltd and ComfortDelGro Corporation of Singapore– the world’s second largest land transport operator.
