Frank Drmic returned to Brisbane on the weekend to play in the QABL for the Southern District Spartans, the swingman managing a
team-high 24 points in a 12-point win for the home side.
Connecting on three long range attempts, Drmic took seven rebounds, blocked four shots and stole the ball twice in just over 41 minutes.
Playing at the Knox Converse Stadium on Saturday, guard Matt Shanahan’s time was cut short because of feet soreness, managing only 20 minutes court-time for three points and two assists.
Shanahan did not compete in Kilsyth’s second weekend match up against Nunawading, as the Cobras went winless for the weekend.
New Dragons recruit Brent Hobba hauled in 16 rebounds and contributed 13 points as the Dandenong Rangers fell short against Diamond Valley 118-107.
