Chmpionship Women POTW: Sharin MilnerAs the season closes out on Hume, they keep winning, and the driving force is the Week 16 Player of the Week Sharin Milner.
Milner was again dominant in two games this weekend, collecting 50 points, 15 assists and eight steals for the round.
In the upset win over Sandringham Saturday, Milner hit 11 of 21 field goal attempts for 25 points, including two of four from the arc. She backed it up with five assists, three rebounds and one steal as she logged 39 minutes on court.
Sunday was more of the same, another 25 points, supported with 10 assists and seven steals against Coburg - the Bronco's running out 70-49 winners and Milner connecting on 10 of 17 GFA's.
Hume round out their year this weekend with a big Saturday night fixture at Dandenong - and another chance of an upset win going home.
Others in the running for this weeks award:
* Fazlyn Hartley, who hit eight of 10 field goal attempts and three of four three pointers on her way to a game high 21 points against Geelong
* Tess Feery, with 22 points also against Geelong, along with eight rebounds, three assists and two steals
* Laura Thomas, brilliant with 25 points and 19 rebounds as Melbourne lost to Bulleen

Championship Men POTW: Michael Petridis
The Werribee Devils finally strung together a couple of wins in their last round of the year, and Michael Petridis picked up the Player of the Week Award as a result.
Petridis averaged 27.5 points, 10 rebounds and five assists over two games as Werribee defeated the Pacers and Waverley.
First up against Latrobe Saturday, Petridis hit 32 points, had 12 rebounds and seven assists.
He followed that up with 23 points, nine rebounds and three dimes in the 16 point win over Waverley.
Petridis is one of three players to have played in all 20 of the Devils 2006 Games. He has been their leading scorer for the year, averaging 21.8 ppg at a healthy 42.6% and 37.8% from the arc. This weekend he cleaned up from downtown again, hitting 10 of 16 three point attempts.
Others in the running for the league's final POTW award of 2006 were:
* Bobby Cunningham, again just an assist away from a TD with 19 points, 11 rebounds, nine assists and four steals against the Sabres
* Tommy Greer, who had 25 points (10 of 15 shooting) and 14 rebounds as the Tigers defeated the Broncos
* Damon Lowry, who had 23 points and 13 assists as the Eltham Wildcats defeated Ringwood Saturday
