Milner was today named player of the week for week 17 after another stunning performance Saturday against the Dandenong Rangers.

She fired her Hume City team mates to their sixth consective win and a big win over another top four side with 40 points - the season high score in this division.

Hitting seven of ten three point attempts for the night, Milner managed 14 of 23 shots overall, for a 61% field goal return.

As usual she complimented that with three assists and three steals, and brought down five rebounds.

Her 40 point haul secured the leading scoring title for Championship women, Milner taking that with just on 18 ppg.

There were some other terrific performances as the season closed out:

* Tegan Cunningham, who had 27 points and 10 rebounds against Waverley and then 28 points and 11 rebounds against Geelong
* Candice Rogers, who also stepped it up with 27 points and 12 rebounds in the same game
* Laura Thomas, with 22 points and 11 rebounds as Melbourne lost to Coburg
