The South Dragons have locked in an inaugural dance squad for the upcoming 2006/07 Philips Championship season.

From an audition on the show court at the South Dragons training base, the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre on Tuesday, a preliminary squad of 10 girls was chosen.

Over the coming weeks the squad will rehearse a couple of times a week, ahead of the Dragons home debut on October 14 against the Wollongong Hawks at Vodafone Arena.
