Ballarat Miners Ricky Daniels has earned his third selection to the All-SEABL South Men Team, winning his first and second recognition with Bendigo in 1999 and 2000. Daniels averaged 16.9 points at 52.8% and 12.4 rebounds as well as recording 4.35 assists and leading the league in steals with 2.4 per game this season in leading the Miners back to the finals with a conference best 20-6 season record. After spending the 2005 season in retirement, Daniels returned to the SEABL with Ballarat this season and has been a dominant force all year.

Joining Daniels in the frontcourt on the All SEABL South Men team are Denver Tenbroek of the Bendigo Braves, Daniel George of the Hobart Chargers, and in the backcourt is Braith Cox of the Ballarat Miners and CJ Massingale of the Knox Raiders.

Tenbroek led all players in the South team with 10 votes out of a possible 12 after averaging 30.5 points, 8.9 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game. This is Tenbroek's first selection to the All SEABL South Men Team, in his first season of SEABL action after spending the 2005 season with Mackay Meteors in the QABL.

Returning to his home town Ballarat Miners after a NBL Championship with the Melbourne Tigers, Braith Cox has been rewarded with his fifth All SEABL team selection. Cox, playing his 11th season averaged 20.3ppg, 4.4rpg, 5.6apg and 1.0spg.

Daniel George is the third Hobart Charger in three years to receive a position on the All SEABL team. George has been a consistent performer all season averaging 21.0ppg, 13.6rpg and 2.1bpg. George was struck down with injury mid way through the season, but recovered well and played a vital part in getting the Chargers to the playoffs.

Knox Raiders import CJ Massingale earns All SEABL Team selection in his second SEABL season after a consistent year, averaging 25.5 points, 8.1 rebounds and 1.68 steals. Massingale started the year in fine style earning Player of the Week honours, and continued his brilliant form throughout the season.

The All SEABL East Men Team consists of Canberra Gunners forward Anthony Petrie, Albury/Wodonga Bandits Nick Payne and Jeff Dowdell, AIS youngster Patrick Mills and Frankston Blues David Gruber.

Anthony Petrie had another standout season and is rewarded with his second consecutive All SEABL Team Selection. Anthony had a sensational year, finishing the season ranked sixth in scoring (20.7ppg), fourth in rebounds (11.6rpg) and eighth in field goal percentage (50.4%).

Frankston Blues third year import David Gruber receives the centre position for the second year on the All SEABL East Men Team after another dominant performance throughout the season. David was instrumental in his team's fourth place finish this season, and finished as the second best rebounder with 13.4rpg. Gruber was also fourth in scoring with 23.2pts and second in field goal percentage with 58.5%.

U/21 Australian Youth Player Patrick Mills caps off a successful season with his first All SEABL team selection. Mills averaged 18.1ppg, 3.9apg, 4.4apg and 1.8spg in his second season at the Australian Institute of Sport. Patrick a Canberra local, also spent time with the Australian Boomers this year and is sure to be a star of the future.

Albury/Wodonga Bandits guard Nick Payne receives his first All SEABL team selection thanks largely to his consistent season performance. Nick was in a four way tie for the guard position, but earned his place due to his higher MVP votes throughout the season. Nick averaged 21.7pts, 5.9rebs, 2.8ass and 1.3stls in 38.8 minutes per game. This is Nick's first SEABL award in his eighth season with his home town Albury/Wodonga.

Bandits team mate Jeff Dowdell also receives his first All SEABL team selection after a stellar season, his first with the Bandits. Dowdell a graduate of the AIS basketball program spent the summer with the Perth Wildcats NBL program and returned to the SEABL in scintillating form. Dowdell at the tender age of 19 was the second best scorer with 24.9ppg and also averaged 8.6rpg and 1.3apg.

The "All SEABL Team" for each Conference is decided by the coach and captain in each respective Conference from a list of players that received Most Valuable Player votes throughout the regular playing season. The team shall be selected by playing position and a limit of two restricted players applies per team.
