The South Dragons will be without the services of veteran Matt Shanahan for tonight's match against the Adelaide 36ers, the guard pulling up sore from Wednesday's clash with the Cairns Taipans at Knox Stadium.

The Dragons will also be without forward Brent Hobba, who will stay home to represent the Dandenong Rangers in the Grand Final series of the Big V.

Hobba's Rangers take on the Sandringham Sabres this Saturday at the Sandringham Basketball Stadium. Hobba will take to the court alongside Dragons development player Ash Cannan.

The Adelaide 36ers will be without back-up centre David Cooper, who injured his back at training late this week and did not travel with the group.
