The Melbourne Tigers have left Australia as they embark on their annual pre-season tour of China.

The entire team flew out early Tuesday morning and will arrive in Hong Kong on Tuesday night before heading to their first destination in Nanjing to play ABA team Jiangsu on Wednesday night.

New import Martin Muursepp is set to join up with the team on Wednesday in time for a training session before the first game.

The team will then travel to Dongguan City outside of Hong Kong, to play two games against their ABA team, before heading to Shenzhen to gear up for their most important games against the Chinese national team.

The Tigers will go head-to-head with the best of the Chinese players, including NBA player Yao Ming on Monday 3rd and Wednesday 5th September.
