The launch will take place on Wednesday 4 October 2006 at the Drum Theatre in Dandenong, just 2 days before the Rangers’ season tips off with a grand final replay against Canberra on 6 October.

The Rangers have a high profile in the south east corridor of Melbourne and in the greater Dandenong area and will this year they will be led by defencejobs WNBL Ambassador and world champion Opal Emily McInerny.

Defencejobs Opals assistant coach Gary Fox will fulfil the role of Head Coach.

The Rangers welcome back their naming right sponsor Jayco Caravans and their other major sponsors, the City of Greater Dandenong and Berwick Mazda.

“This launch is a great opportunity to showcase the success of our program and Australian women’s basketball internationally.”
