Bogut to miss 6-8 weeks

Boomers and Milwaukee Bucks centre Andrew Bogut has sustained a lower leg strain at training that could keep him out of the game for six to eight weeks.
Bogut crashed into team-mate Steve Blake's knee on Saturday at training and was helped off the court.
It was initially thought that the injury was not too serious but the team's orthopaedic physician Dr John Heinrich assessed the area and reported that the Australian will have to undergo rehabilitation for the next six to eight weeks.
Bogut will definitely miss the Bucks' first pre-season match on October 11 against the Minnesota Timberwolves and it is highly likely he will also sit out the season opener on November 1 against the Detroit Pistons.
The Melbourne-born star was the No.1 NBA draft pick in 2005 and had a successful debut season in the league before his team was bundled out in the first round of the playoffs by Detroit.
