Are you passionate about Basketball and have always dreamed about getting your foot in the door of the sporting world? With the launch of the newest addition to the NBL – the South Dragons – we are currently searching for a Media Manager to leverage South Dragons profile through high quality public relations.
Heading up the Media/PR division, this pivotal role will see you strive to successfully promote and increase awareness of South Dragons in the community through a variety of avenues. Your main duties include, generating newsworthy stories and pitching them to media, facilitating all incoming media requests, maintaining and updating the South Dragons website, arranging professional press conferences and hosting and co-ordinating all facets of post-game media requests.
Innovative, hardworking and genuine you will have some experience working in a similar role and be tertiary educated in media/communications or a related discipline. Critical to your success is your absolute attention to detail and the ability to form healthy relationships with local and national media.
