The Dragons' season-long commitment to local basketball ended in style with 150 local supporters out in force to watch their stars in action.

As the Dragons sweated it out on the court, South Dragons Basketball Development Manager Michele Timms guided juniors from five to 15 years of age through a series of skills and fitness exercises.

Participants in the clinic were then joined by Dragons players in a second round of drills aimed to enhance their enjoyment and understanding of the sport.

The kids from Coburg brought their A-game to the after-school clinic, impressing South stars Joe Ingles, Ash Cannan, Adam Quick and teammates with their sharp shooting and silky smooth ball skills.

The afternoon concluded with player autographs, photographs and the chance to chat one-on-one with the South Dragons players.

While this week's session ended the Dragons' 'Back to the 'Burbs' program for season 2006-'07, the series is set to continue later this year as the South stars launch their second season in the Philips Championship league.
