The Crazy John’s South Dragons play their seventh and final pre-season game on Saturday night at Knox stadium in Boronia against Jacob Holmes and the Adelaide 36ers.

Holmes, last year's Dragons co-captain and MVP, signed with the 36ers in the off-season. In addition, Adelaide's new head coach, Scott Ninnis, is a former Dragons assistant.

The 36ers have also signed Horsham product Aaron Bruce, who starred at Baylor University, former NBA player Luke Schenscher and import Mark Tyndale from Temple University.

Meanwhile, the Dragons are coming off a 121-98 win over a full-strength New Zealand Breakers team on Tuesday at Kilsyth. Joe Ingles marked his return from the Beijing Olympics with a 22-point, 8-assist night, while Rhys Carter continued his hot form, pumping in 21 points. Nick Horvath added 20 for the Dragons, while the team’s newest signing, Tremmell Darden had 16.

The Dragons have won all of their pre-season games and in fact, have only lost four of 24 quarters played.
