The South Dragons duo mix it with the big men day in, day out, and know just what it takes to beat the world’s best.

Just don’t tell that to the kids.

Thirty junior hoops fans took it right up to the Dragons stars yesterday at a skills clinic for friends and family of Deloitte staff.

For over an hour the enthusiastic youngsters were put through their paces, participating in a series of skill exercises and fitness drills with their South Dragons idols.

The energetic crew showed no mercy on court, demonstrating sharp shooting and impressive skills to rival the efforts of the national league pro’s.

With their A-games well and truly in tune, all participants faced off in a good-spirited game to end the afternoon. Under the guidance of coaches Quick and Holmes, the two teams fought hard to claim ultimate honours.

The Deloitte juniors yesterday proved themselves some of the South Dragons’ greatest fans. And with the determination they brought to the court, we may yet see the young stars signed to the Dragons’ list.
