Moore enjoyed an outstanding 2006 season for Eltham, but with Joel Seach moving home to Ringwood will be called on even more in 2007 to fill the key for the Wildcats.

Round 1 certainly showed he was capable of doing it.

Stealing the award from Warrnambool's Lester Strong, Moore averaged 25 points and 10 rebounds over 2 games, shooting at an outstanding 55% from the field and missing just one free throw from 15 attempts for a 93% return.

Moore also collected five steals and two blocked shots - and managed 10 second chance points.

Lester Strong was the other impressive contender with a huge rebounding haul against Hume City and two 30+ games for the weekend.

Also in the mix were Moore's team mate, Luke Egan, who impressed on his return to the club, and Joel Seach, who had 24 rebounds against the Pacers at Traralgon.
