Westpac was a key partner to the club throughout the 2006-‘07 season, and the major sponsor of the Westpac Three-Point Shootout.

Thirty-three basketball associations took part in the Westpac-sponsored event, which saw Paul Morello win the $10,000 cash bounty for Merinda Park.

In recognition of Westpac’s outstanding support, the South Dragons presented the bank’s Mark Aldou with a framed memento of the event.

With the Three-Point Shootout set to return to Vodafone Arena later this year, it’s time for all junior hoops stars to hit the practice court for their once-in-a-lifetime chance at the major cash prize!

To round out a week of thanks, the South Dragons invited all first-season volunteers to Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre on Friday night to see their new offices and share a few drinks.

The South Dragons’ tireless volunteers were key to the success of last season and, despite the hard work, the team is counting down the days until the new season tips off on September 22.

The South Dragons look forward to continuing their association with all corporate partners and volunteer staff in 2007-’08.
