Defending NBA champions, the Miami Heat, find themselves in a 0-2 playoff series hole after Ben Gordon shot 27 points to lead the Chicago Bulls to a 107-89 win at the United Center on Tuesday night.

Luol Deng also poured in 26 points as the home side outscored the visitors 52-37 in the second half to come away with the win.

Dwyane Wade led the way for the Heat with 21 points and Shaquille O'Neal finished with 17 as the series now heads back to Miami for Game 3.

The Lakers also find themselves with the job ahead of them after the Suns put on an impressive display to down Los Angeles 126-98 in Phoenix and take a 2-0 series lead.

Leandro Barbosa came off the bench to score a game-high 26 points and Amare Stoudamire had 20 as the Lakers' offense sputtered with Kobe Bryant top-scoring with just 15 points.

In the final game played on Tuesday, the Raptors squared their series with New Jersey at one game apiece with a hard-fought 89-83 win over the Nets in Toronto.

Anthony Parker scored 26 points and Chris Bosh 25 as the Raptors held off the Nets who were led by Vince Carter with 19 points and 11 rebounds.
