After taking the first match convincingly, San Antonio maintained its winning form at home to take a 2-0 lead in the playoff series ahead of upcoming matches in Utah.

Tim Duncan produced 26 points, 14 rebounds and five blocks for the Spurs as Utah's Carlos Boozer scored a game-high 33 points to go with his 15 rebounds.

For the Jazz, the only other player on song was Deron Williams, who scored 26 points and led a late match surge from the visitors that saw Utah close to be just seven points behind San Antonio in the fourth quarter.

However, Bruce Bowen's nine fourth-quarter points halted Utah's advance and helped the Spurs consolidate their second victory in this series.
